Our house is best described as a barn conversion that provides  spacious and modern family accomodation on three floors.  It is located in the beautiful small village of Blois sur Seille near Lons le Saunier, Eastern France. It  has a well appointed kitchen with washing machine and dish washer and a table big enough to seat 8/10 people. There are two double doors from the kitchen, one to the patio and one to the back garden.  There is a shower room with toilet on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a  large, cosy living room with television (English and European)  Two double bedrooms (one with an extra single bed) both with adjacent bathrooms. One bedroom with three single beds. The double beds are long and wide from Ikea .  There is a wood burning stove called a Godin which emits lovely warmth in the kitchen and a wood fire in the sitting room.   There are electric radiators in all the rooms for cold days and the modern insulation means they work quickly and efficiently.   The nearby town of Voiteur (5kms)  has a really good boulangerie, supermarket, pharmacy, bank, bars etc.   There are lots of lovely restaurants nearby.   In the adjacent valleys are two of the most beautiful villages in France and, although we are just off the tourist route, we benefit from the tourism in many ways.   Lons le Saunier has a typically french market on thursday mornings .
