Located in a Rec​ulee (a blind vallee with a cliff at the end),  our village 'Blois sur Seille' is very friendly and is surrounded by gently undulating meadows and pasture which never see the tiniest bit of chemical fertiliser or insecticide, this means that the wild flowers are wonderful.  All this under grandious limestone cliffs which pick up the evening sun and just glow.  There are lots of walks or cycle rides and special famous villages such as Baume les Messieurs and Chateau Chalon are within a healthy walk or a short car ride. Also nearby are a number of good resraurants, local markets as well as swimming, golf, canoeing. Local supermarket, boulangerie, pharmacy and bank are all in the little town of Voiteur 3kms away.
